I could crush SELinux' grapes !

Over an hour of this :

warning: SASL authentication failure: cannot connect to saslauthd server: Permission denied
Aug 2 15:31:29 imap2 postfix/smtpd[31915]: warning: [127.0.0.1]: SASL LOGIN authentication failed: generic failure

when /var/run/sasauthd/mux was 777'd

was caused by this

Aug 2 15:31:31 imap2 setroubleshoot: SELinux is preventing /usr/libexec/postfix/smtpd (postfix_smtpd_t) "write" to saslauthd (saslauthd_var_run_t). For complete SELinux messages. run sealert -l 0e32e002-b7a7-4939-832d-e32d6336730b

Who needs file permissions when you've got SELinux !!!
